The Pilot operation is now over!  Two years of data accumulation has ended and in terms of closed circuit intensive tilapia production we have gathered a warehouse full of IP and technical know how.

Consulting remains open of course. We bill R800 an hour for consultations in fish farming operations specialising in tilapia of course but generalist to a large extent as a consequence. Where we can’t help we’ll say so – we’re not reliant on consulting for a livelihood.

William Kelly, BSc Eng (Chem) (Wits), APMP (Unisa)

William has run several successful companies, including Happy Koi. He has developed and sold numerous proprietary filtration systems and is a pioneer of the moving bed filter technology in South Africa and, together with David Fincham, is the innovator of the Aquaculture Production Unit (APU), a robust cost-effective Fit For Purpose fish farming solution.

Ross Matthews, BAcc (Wits), CA (SA), MBA (Wits)

Ross has performed corporate finance and strategic advisory services for clients including structuring and raising new and/or replacement capital, introducing operational and/or technical partners into existing operations and assisting executive management with strategy development and execution. His clients include start-ups, listed conglomerates and private equity management companies. He spent the last 25 years working within the management consulting, investment banking and private equity industries

Hugo Holl, BSc Eng (Chem) (Wits), MBA (Stellenbosch)

Hugo worked in the mining and metallurgical industry and has extensive experience in formulation and execution of complex projects. He managed the establishment of the Everest Platinum Mine (250 ktpm capacity) from feasibility study to construction and operation. He was the Managing Director of Aquarius Platinum (South Africa) and has participated in various merger and acquisitions at a senior executive level
